Just 7 km (one way) from the place of departure there is an intense blue lake, whose waters are of glacial origin and which can be visited on a soft trek, it has a well-demarcated trail through native forests with myrtles, tepas, cirruelillos, canelos, ulmos and lumas that are part of the incredible and exemplary vegetation present in the area. The lake is located at 530 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Yates and Hornopirén volcanoes, forming a closed basin with no surface drainage. These waters run underground to feed the Cuchildeo River, which flows into the town of Hornopirén. It is an excursion of medium difficulty, and approximately 6 hours long. The departure time is 7:30 in the morning. Min 2 pax.
