Alerce Andino

The Alerce Andino National Park is part of the Biosphere Reserve of the Temperate Rainforest of the Southern Andes, and the main highlight of the park is its environment of ecological value and the 3000 years old alerce woods. Also the region is unique due to a forest in which 1 of 3 species is endemic.The park has more than 50 lakes, all surrounded by native trees, and offers many trails allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The park has two entrance, Correntoso and Lenca, both about 60 km from Puerto Varas
